Frano Suisse Italia was set up in 1979, to develop the Italian market of Franco Suisse Dentaire, a leading European company manufacturing top quality dental alloys which had been operating in the industry since 1962. From the July of 2001 it has taken the new name of Nuova Franco Suisse Italia s.r.l. At its factory in Vigonza near Padua top quality dental alloys are researched and produced using excellent manufacturing techniques (casting under vacuum and in a controlled atmosphere, use of continuous casting furnaces, annealing chamber in a controlled atmosphere), a choice of raw materials with a high degree of purity and a know-how acquired over a period of more than thirty years. Moreover, for the study of new materials NFSI takes advantage of the collaboration of the engineering department of the Padua university.
